Hey,
So Glad You're Here!
Pronouns: She, her, hers
Profession: Attorney
Location: New York, USA
ME: Jenna Coudin, Esq.
“I’m an Attorney” is my typical go-to answer when asked about myself. Why? Well, I am proud of what I do, but I essentially came to the realization that most people start to take me seriously when made aware of this title.
With that being said, I am licensed to practice law in the state of New York. I am a legal aid attorney, and I proudly represent and defend marginalized communities from deep-rooted abuse, on a wide range of cases including eviction defense, harassment, racial and gender-based discrimination. I also litigate and advocate access to basic human rights such as shelter and healthcare.

MYSELF: Bi-racial polarity struggle
I am the descendant of the oppressor as well as the oppressed. I am the looter and the colonized. I am, and will most likely continue to be haunted by the intersected duality that is to be half black and half white. I am in desperate search of belonging. Am I both, or none? Have you ever wondered whether two halves make a whole? I have.

AND I: Frenchie in the City: The Expat
Born in Toulouse, France, I moved to the USA in 2010. I lived in Missouri, Florida, Washington D.C and New York. Didn’t realize how much of a Frenchie I was until I moved out of there.
